Response to Copyright Infringement Notices:

Upon receiving a valid copyright infringement notice, we will take the following actions:

  • Promptly acknowledge receipt of the notice to the sender.
  • Conduct an investigation to confirm the copyright infringement allegations.
  • If we determine that the content is infringing, we will remove or disable access to the infringing material.
  • Notify the alleged infringer of the claim, including relevant information about the notice received.
  • Provide the alleged infringer with an opportunity to submit a counter-notification if they believe the material was mistakenly identified or removed.

Counter-Notification Procedure:

If you believe that the material removed or disabled as a result of a copyright infringement notice is not infringing or that you have the authorization to use the copyrighted material, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal or disabling.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in which your address is located, or if your address is outside the United States, that you consent to the jurisdiction of any federal district court where Saw Times may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original infringement notice or their agent.
